We stopped at Domaine Chandon mostly because we’d heard about their champagne—and even though we’re not big champagne people, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The grounds were absolutely amazing: beautifully landscaped gardens, peaceful vineyard views, and a relaxed patio vibe that instantly slows you down. The sparkling wines were fresh, crisp, and surprisingly enjoyable for us, making it one of those visits where the setting elevates the whole experience. It felt less like a formal tasting and more like a scenic break in the middle of Napa—great place to wander, sip bubbles, and soak it all in. Definitely a worthy stop for atmosphere alone, with bonus points for converting two non-champagne drinkers, even if just for the afternoon. 🥂
