We stopped by Darioush Winery once again—and honestly, while the wines didn’t really move the needle for us this time, the winery itself is absolutely outrageous in the best possible way. The Persian-inspired architecture feels more like arriving at a palace than a tasting room, with massive columns, reflecting pools, manicured gardens, and sweeping vineyard views that practically demand a slow walk and lots of photos. It’s one of those places where the experience is 90% visual and atmospheric—the kind of stop you Yoink for the sheer spectacle. Even if the pours weren’t especially memorable, Darioush is still a must-see Napa landmark: bold, dramatic, and unforgettable as a destination, if not for what’s in the glass.
