On this trip we scheduled a tasting at Revana Family Vineyard, and it turned out to be one of those stops that quietly impresses you. Founded by Dr. Madaiah Revana (a heart surgeon turned winemaker), they focus on small-production, single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from some of Napa’s best sites in St. Helena, Oakville, and Rutherford. You can feel the precision in everything they do — from the vineyard selections to the way each wine shows its own personality based on soil and microclimate. Most of their bottles are sold directly to members, so it felt special to taste wines you don’t normally see on shelves. Big Napa structure, beautiful balance, and clearly built to age — a great visit and an easy one to Yoink onto the map.
