Road the Conestee Nature Preserve on my RSUB

It's been over a year since I first rode the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and now I can officially call it my home trail. Though I've been spending time biking the Conestee Nature Preserve lately, today felt like the perfect day to return to the SRT!
There's just so much to take in along this scenic path. I kicked off my ride at the Zoo and covered 24 miles, heading up to Traveler's Rest and back. Along the way, I passed serene waterfalls, the sprawling beauty of Furman University, and everything in between.
The forecast had only promised light showers in the morning, so imagine my surprise when I found myself pedaling through eight miles of hail and lightning! But I wasn't the only one pressing on, locals weren't stopping for a little thunder and lightning, so neither did I.
By the end of the ride, I was drenched head to toe. At times, the rain came down so hard I could barely see the trail, but that only added to the adventure. Despite the weather, it was a wild, exhilarating ride, and fun was had by all!
